The richest and poorest countries in Latin America.

Panama has become the second-richest country in Latin America after Chile, while Peru is now richer than Colombia, according to a Latinvex analysis of new data from the International Monetary Fund.
The analysis used data for gross domestic product based on purchasing-power-parity (PPP) per capita GDP in international dollars to measure wealth and excludes Argentina, which has been criticized for having unreliable data on its economy.
