The top international law firms in Latin America.

The editorial and research staff of Latinvex has ranked the top international law firms in Latin America.
We looked at more than 100 international law firms and using our methodology ranked the top 35 based on scope and prominence of work and the number and type of staff allocated to Latin America at the firm.
The scope of work includes arbitration, banking, capital markets, corporate, litigation, M&A and projects. We looked at publicly available information on work done by the firms as well as external rankings such as Thomson Reuters’ data on M&A work and recognition from clients and peers through such sources as Chambers & Partners.
Staffing includes both physical staff in Latin America as well as outside the region. We provided a higher score for the number of partners versus associates. We also provided points for physical presence in Latin America.
In the end, many law firms without any physical presence in Latin America still managed to rank high due to high scores on scope and prominence of work and large Latin American practices based outside the region. That’s the case with ...
