Paul Hastings Advises Televisa Offer

Paul Hastings represented Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and Santander Investment Securities Inc., as dealer managers, in a cash tender offer by Mexican media company Grupo Televisa for up to $300 million of its 5.000% Notes due 2045, 6.625% Notes due 2025 and 5.250% Notes due 2049, in a fixed-spread tender offer; Latham & Watkins team advised on the project financing for one of the world’s major afforestation projects that plans to produce 1.8 million metric tons of eucalyptus pulp annually and expand sustainable forestry in Paraguay; Cleary Gottlieb represented Mexican startup Nelo as borrower, in the $100 million senior secured loan transaction with certain funds managed by Victory Park Capital acting as lenders; DLA Piper advised Canada-based Innergex Renewable Energy Inc. in a private placement to institutional investors of $710 million principal amount of senior secured notes by its indirect wholly owned Chilean subsidiary Aela Generación and a related $93.1 million letter of credit facility and Simpson Thacher represented the Republic of Guatemala in connection with its $500 million offer.
