Shearman Advises Banco do Brasil Loan


Clifford Chance and Hogan Lovells advise Latin America financing.

Shearman & Sterling advised Brazilian bank Banco do Brasil on a $500 million term facility from China Development Bank; Hogan Lovells advised IDB Invest in a $120 million financing of Spain-based Grupo Piñero, a hotel operator in the Caribbean and Mexico with 27 hotels in the region; Clifford Chance has advised IDB Invest on the $50 million working capital facility provided to Latin America-focused BPO Atento and White & Case has advised the Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago on a Heads of Agreement for the restructuring of Atlantic LNG, one of largest exporters of LNG in the world.
