Skadden Advises Citi on Mexico Exit


Paul Hastings, Walkers, White & Case advise Brazil, Chile, Mexico deals.

Skadden is advising Citi in connection with its announcement that it intends to exit the consumer, small business and middle market banking operations of Mexican unit Citibanamex; White & Case is advising US-based Sempra Energy on its agreement to sell a non-controlling 10 percent interest in Sempra Infrastructure Partners to a subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority for $1.78 billion in cash; Paul Hastings represented Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer in the sale of its  wholly owned subsidiaries Embraer Portugal Estruturas Metalicas (EEM) and Embraer Portugal Estruturas em Compositos (EEC) to Spain-based Aernnova Aerospace for $172 million and Walkers has advised Chilean asset management firm Moneda on the Cayman Islands law aspects of its integration with Brazil-based Pátria Investments and associated pre-closing restructuring and regulatory advice.
