Skadden Advises $2.7 Bln Brazil Offers


Davis Polk, Hogan Lovells advise Brazil, Jamaica offers.

Skadden advised on $2 billion in offers from Brazilian retailer Lojas Americanas, the $608 million IPO from Brazilian logistics company Hidrovias (the largest in Brazil and Latin America so far this year) and a $142 million follow-on by Brazilian port company Santos; Davis Polk advised the $383 million IPO from Brazilian credit bureau Boa Vista and  distance learning company Vitru’s $96 million offer and Hogan Lovells advised Jamaica-based National Commercial Bank on its $250 million issue.
