Dominican Republic: Hogan Lovells Wins Jurisdiction
Freshfields wins larger award for Tenaris, Milberg loses Argentina client case.

Hogan Lovells has obtained a Partial Award on Jurisdiction from a UNCITRAL Arbitral Tribunal in a case that involved a prominent Jamaican-Canadian businessman against the Dominican Republic under the CARICOM-DR Free Trade Agreement; Freshfields secured a $256 million ruling from the United States District Court for the District of Columbia in favor of its client Tenaris and the Southern District Court of New York dismissed a case related to what's left of Milberg LLC over Argentina debt work.
