Foreign investor interest in Mexico is picking up significantly, in part spurred by recent reforms and expectations of future policies from new president Enrique Peña Nieto.

To help our readers, the editorial team of Latinvex has singled out the top 50 businesspeople in the country.

We have included both locals and foreign nationals that head key businesses, making our list unique compared with other rankings that only includes Mexicans.

We have also tried to have a balance between different industry sectors and between purely local and more global Mexican companies.
