Cleary Gottlieb represented French insurance company CNP Assurances on its $1.7 billion deal with Brazilian bank Caixa Econômica Federal; Baker McKenzie assisted Chile-based Mantos Copper in raising $250 million to finance Mantos Blancos sulfide concentrator and Peru-based Minera IRL – listed in Canada – secured several victories at the Court of Arbitration in its dispute with Corporación Financiera de
Desarrollo (COFIDE).
