Paul Hastings Advises $1 Bln Mexico Offer


Hogan Lovells, Paul Hastings, Shearman, Simpson Thacher advise offers.

Paul Hastings represented Mexican mining company Minera México on a $1 billion offer and Jamaica on its $815 million offer; Shearman & Sterling represented Mexican state oil company Pemex on a $7.5 billion bond offer as well as $5 billion completed cash tender offers and a $3.5 billion multi series of pending exchange offer. It also represented the international placement agents and financial advisor on Brazilian homebuilder Trisul’s follow-on offering, while Hogan Lovells advised Brazil's state oil company Petrobras on offers to exchange and related offers to purchase for cash seven series of its outstanding notes worth a combined $20 billion and Simpson Thacher represented Brazilian software company Sinqia on its $88 million follow-on offer.
