Latin America, Brazil M&As Jump 60%

Mergers and acquisitions make strong comeback in Brazil.


The value of announced mergers and acquisitions in both Brazil and Latin America as a whole jumped 60 percent during the first nine months of the year, according to Thomson Reuters.

The Brazil figures mark a strong return for the South America country, which had suffered from a slowdown in recent years.
