Latin America: Billionaire Fortune Declining

Brazil accounts for half of Latin America’s billionaires, but Mexico close behind in fortune.

The combined fortune of Latin America’s billionaires has declined the past two years, although the number of billionaires has grown, according to a Latinvex analysis of the latest annual ranking of the world’s billionaires from Forbes magazine.

Brazil continues to dominate the list, followed by Mexico and Chile.
