Venezuela – world’s worst economic decline this year.

Venezuela and Ecuador are seeing anti-government protests these days, in many cases for similar reasons: Lack of political freedom and fair elections.
However, Venezuela and Ecuador also have another thing in common. They both will be the only countries in Latin America with economic recessions the next two years.
In fact, Venezuela’s estimated 7.4 percent GDP decline this year will be the world’s worst, according to a Latinvex analysis of new projections from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
