How Central America ranks on the Latin American Investor Index.

Costa Rica outperforms Central America on the Latin America Investor Index from Latinvex. The index is the broadest benchmark ever measuring the business climate in Latin America. It includes 60 different metrics across 18 countries in the region.

Costa Rica outshines its neighbors on all seven key categories: corporate environment, worst macroeconomic environment, worst infrastructure level, worst trade environment, worst labor environment, worst political environment and worst law & order environment.
