Latham, Skadden Advise Brazil Deals

Jones Day, Ogier advise Millicom, BTG Pactual credit, bond offer.


Skadden is advising Brazil-based data software company Semantix on its merger with a US-based, Latin America focused SPAC Alpha Capital that values the Brazilian company at about $1 billion; Latham & Watkins represents US-based Dragoneer Investment Group in its $100 million investment in Brazilian educational technology Arco; Ogier has advised Brazil-based investment bank BTG Pactual on its first green bond issue, which raised $500 million and Jones Day advised Luxembourg-based Millicom on its bridge facility to support its $2.2 billion acquisition of the remaining 45% stake in the Comcel Group in Guatemala.
