Skadden, Hunton Advise on Citi-Promerica Deal

Deal boosts Promerica assets in Guatemala to $1.5 billion.

Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom and Hunton & Williams are advising on the Citigroup-Promerica deal in Central America.

The deal, subject to regulatory approvals and other customary conditions, 63 branches serving retail and commercial banking customers. Citigroup will retain its institutional banking and credit card businesses in Guatemala.
