Latin America M&As: Simpson Thacher, Freshfields Top Legal Advisors
Simpson top foreign advisor in Latin America, Freshfields top advisor in Brazil.

Simpson Thacher is the top foreign legal advisor on announced Latin America mergers and acquisitions in the first half of the year, while Freshfields leads among foreign law firms in Brazil M&As, according to a Latinvex analysis of new data from Thomson Reuters.
While two Brazilian firms top the list of legal M&A advisors in Latin America, the top 25 advisors also includes 18 international law firms (including five from Canada), Mexico-based Creel Garcia and four other Brazilian firms.
