Thanks to advising on 16 deals worth $26.4 billion, Davis Polk became the top legal advisor in announced Latin American M&As last year, according to Thomson Reuters. Meanwhile, Davis Polk also led the way in growth, according to a Latinvex analysis of Thomson Reuters data.

The results were similar to the situation in the third quarter, when Davis Polk also led the way in deal volume and growth.
